At R-Go Tools we want everyone to have the opportunity to work healthily behind a monitor. We do this by developing ergonomic computer tools that are as sustainable and affordable as possible. The health of people comes first for us, it is our greatest motivation.
R-Go Tools and people in need
But that is not the only thing we find incredibly important. Did you know that R-Go Tools was actually started with the intention of helping people in need? And still more than 10% of the profit is donated via our Tools4Life foundation to development projects. Projects that often aim to give people a better chance in life, for example because they then get the chance to learn a profession, to find work. In our own office and warehouse there is also room for social work. But not only that, we support social workplaces by, for example, outsourcing the assembly of some of our products.
The great work of i-Did
We recently started working with i-Did. A social enterprise with a wonderful, dual mission. There, they help clean up the so-called textile mountain by making new products from recycled felt from old textiles. They do this in their own i-Did Factory, where people who have never worked or have not worked for a long time can gain various employee skills under supervision. This is where the best bags, accessories and interior products are created. Sustainable and social.
Our collaboration
When we were looking for durable protective covers to safely transport our products, we came in contact with i-Did. As far as we’re concerned, it couldn’t be any better: the visions of i-Did and R-Go fit together seamlessly, strengthening each other. The result of this collaboration is impressive: hip, felt pouches, compact and sturdy, developed especially for our Twister mouse or Split keyboard. And this assignment also offered people without work experience new opportunities! That makes us very happy.
