Seven tips for healthy working: Support the body, work with an upright posture, avoid reaching, avoid small repetitive movements, ensure relaxation, get moving and listen to your body!


  • Support the body

Sit as far back in the chair as possible with your back against the backrest and support your forearms while relaxing your shoulders.


  • Work with an upright posture

Place the keyboard and monitor right in front of you. Position the top of the screen at or slightly below eye level and place documents between the keyboard and the screen.


  • Avoid reaching

Position the keyboard and mouse close to the body and also put the phone within reach.


  • Avoid small repetitive movements

Typing is healthier than using the mouse, so use as many keyboard shortcuts as possible. Move the mouse with your entire arm rather than just your wrist and do not do everything with one hand.


  • Ensure relaxation

Limit the number of hours of computer work and take (micro) breaks. Allow your hands to rest when you are not using the mouse or keyboard for a moment.


  • Get moving

Make sure you regularly walk and stand besides just sitting. Keep your body fit.


  • Listen to your body!
